Passports
Applying for Passports
You can apply for a passport at the Antioch Township Office 1275 Main Street Antioch, IL 60002 ​ Your passport will be mailed to you by the U.S. Department of State.

9:00 am - 3:00 pm Monday - Thursday Fridays 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Regular processing takes 8 - 11 weeks at a cost of $130.00 for the Passport Book.
Expedited 3-5 weeks processing 5-7 weeks available for additional $60, plus a mailing fee of $19.53
If you plan to depart in less than two weeks apply at the Chicago Passport Agency, 101 West Congress Parkway, 9th Floor, Chicago, IL 60605.

What you will need

An application, available at the Antioch Township Office or online at travel.state.gov

Your old passport (issued over 15 years ago) or a certified birth certificate or certificate of naturalization. All documents must be sealed, certified originals. No photocopies can be accepted.

Valid photo ID. State ID and driver's license are both acceptable forms of identification. Your identification must include your photo, signature, issue date, and expiration date.

One passport photo: Passport-specific photos are 2"x2" in size. It should be recent and show clear likeness, front view, full face, eyes open, with a plain white background. Antioch Township does passport photo's for $15.00.

Forms of payment for the two separate fees (the "passport fee" and the "execution fee") Fees must be in the form of a personal check, cashier's check, or money order- one payable to U.S. Department of State. The other payable to Antioch Township. Cash, debit or credit cards are not accepted.
Passport renewals
If your most recent passport was issued less than 15 years ago, you can get a mail-in application at the Township Office or download the form online on the State Department's website.
